Quick answer
Use a unique, strong password, never share your OTP, log in only through a verified official link or app, and lock your phone. Real staff will never ask for your password or OTP.
Create a strong, unique password
Your password is the first layer of protection for your CYL88 account. Most compromised accounts are not the result of sophisticated hacking, but of passwords that are easy to guess or reused across many sites.
- Use at least 12 characters with a mix of upper-case and lower-case letters, numbers and symbols.
- Avoid birthdays, phone numbers, your own name or simple combinations such as the site name followed by “123”.
- Never use the same password for email, online banking and gaming accounts.
- Consider a trusted password manager so you do not need to write passwords on paper or in phone notes.
- Change your password if you have ever logged in on someone else's device or suspect it has been exposed.
An easy way to create a password that is strong but memorable is to combine three or four random, unrelated words and then add numbers and symbols. Protect your email account with a different password as well, because email is often used to recover access to your other accounts.
Protect your OTP and your devices
The OTP code sent by SMS confirms that you own the phone number linked to the account. It is just as important as your password.
Never share your OTP
Real CYL88 staff will never ask for your password or OTP through live chat, calls, WhatsApp or Telegram. Neither will the cyl88.lol team.
Lock your phone
Use a PIN, fingerprint or face recognition, and hide SMS previews on the lock screen if your phone is often left unattended.
Keep software updated
Install Android, iOS and app updates so known security weaknesses are patched.
Log out on shared devices
Do not tick “remember me” on public computers or on someone else's phone.
For how to log in safely on phone and desktop, see our CYL88 login guide.
Recognise fake sites and phishing
Phishing sites copy the look of a real login page to steal your ID and password. These links are usually spread through SMS, Telegram groups, social media comments or ads promising unusual bonuses.
- Check the site address. Look closely at the domain spelling before entering any details; extra letters or an odd domain are warning signs.
- Use a verified link. Save the official link as a bookmark and open it from there, not from random messages.
- Download apps from official sources only. APKs from unknown sources can contain malware that steals banking passwords.
- Ignore offers that are too good to be true. Messages like “RM500 bonus, no conditions, log in now” are a classic scam tactic.
We explain link checks in more detail in our article on how to verify CYL88 links and avoid fake sites.
Guard your personal and banking information
A CYL88 account is usually tied to your full name, phone number and bank account. The name on your bank account needs to match the account name, and each person is allowed only one account. So never lend or sell your account to anyone else, and never use another person's bank account for transactions.
- Send verification documents (if requested) only through official channels inside the platform.
- Do not post screenshots showing your user ID, balance or bank details on social media.
- Use your home Wi-Fi or your own mobile data, not unknown public Wi-Fi, when making transactions.
To understand how this site handles visitor data, read our privacy policy. Remember: cyl88.lol has no access to your CYL88 account and does not store anyone's login details.
If you suspect your account has been compromised
- Change your password immediately. If you can still log in, change your password and log out of all devices. If not, follow the steps in our guide on how to reset your CYL88 password.
- Contact official support. Tell customer service through the in-platform live chat. See how to contact customer service for the details to prepare.
- Check your transaction history. Note any deposits, withdrawals or bank detail changes you do not recognise.
- Protect your other accounts. If you used the same password elsewhere, change it there too, especially for email and online banking.

Frequently asked questions
Is it safe to save my CYL88 password in the browser?
It can be acceptable on a personal phone locked with a PIN or biometrics. Never save passwords on shared devices or public computers.
What should I do if I receive an OTP I did not request?
Do not share the code with anyone. It may be a sign someone is trying to access your account, so change your password and inform CYL88 customer service.
Can I share my CYL88 account with a family member?
It is not recommended. Usually one account is for one person only, and sharing an account can cause verification problems or a blocked account.
